When a person is injured during an armed robbery in a store, shopping center, or mall, who is the responsible party for the medical bills and lost wages during the time they cannot work?

If somebody’s injured in an armed robbery that takes place at a business look to that business to be responsible for all of the harm that’s done, medical bills, lost wages, all of it. Think about it this way, there’s a reason that criminal chose that place to commit the armed robbery. Probably because they thought they could get away with it. It’s the business’s responsibility to take whatever steps are reasonable to protect the public. If they didn’t do that then they’re going to be responsible for all of the harm that that criminal caused.
