In order to hold a property owner legally responsible, what evidence is necessary to be shown?

For any business owner to be held responsible for the harm done by a criminal to evict him, what has to be shown is that that business owner didn’t take whatever steps were reasonable under the circumstances to protect the public. If that place had a history of criminal acts, if it’s in a very high crime area, then the more likely it is that some kind of crime is going to take place on that property. The greater the steps and precautions the business needs to take. If the business didn’t take the right precautions for the circumstances, they’re going to be responsible for all of the harm that was done.
