There are a whole bunch of different kinds of brain injuries. Sometimes the easiest way to start is when we talk about closed head injuries versus open head injuries. A closed head injury is, there’s no skull fracture. Well, just because a person’s skull isn’t fractured, does that mean that their brain didn’t suffer a traumatic injury? Of course not.
