I do not wish to hurt anyone financially. Should I still pursue a recovery settlement for my injuries?

Somebody you care about has been hurt in an accident, it wasn’t their fault or maybe you’ve been hurt in an accident and it wasn’t your fault. Something we hear all the time is, “Well you know I don’t want to hurt anybody financially. What should I do?” First thing to do is realize that somebody already has been hurt financially. It’s either the person you care about or it’s you. The idea that nobody’s going to get hurt financially, we’re already past that if you’re looking at this video. The real question is who’s going to pay the debt for the harm that was done? Most of the time that’s going to be the insurance company for the person who caused the harm. The whole reason people buy insurance is to protect them if they make a mistake, cause an accident, that insurance has only one purpose is to pay for situations that go bad, have a really bad result. This kind of situation, that’s what the insurance is there for.
